My name is Paul. I’m a creative web developer, graphic designer and photographer from Canada.
Born and raised in Gatineau, Québec I’ve always been interested in art, music & technology. I had already made some very basic websites & Flash animations in High School, nothing too complex, and felt compelled to learn more. I started learning more HTML, CSS and a little bit of PHP after High School on my own and made a few websites for fun. It had become a fun little pass time and I wanted to improve myself even further.
Lucky for me, I discovered the existence of the Techniques d’Intégration Multimédia program offered at the CÉGEP de l’Outaouais. It’s a 3 year college program that has a lot of creative and technical classes, such as design, web, programming, audio, video and interactivity. That’s where I was first introduced to the world of graphic design and professional web development, and I loved every second of it.
I’m currently doing a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at l’Université du Québec en Outaouais.
My main tools are Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator. I also use Lightroom to organize and post-process photographs.
Now with around 4 years of experience in the field and I mainly specialize in creating user-friendly & functional websites and creating beautiful eye-catching designs for my clients.
